Seventeen artists, one venue, a wealth of art

The Breckland Artists bring a new and vibrant exhibition to Wymondham this November with three additional artists.

Breckland Artists are a diverse group of seventeen artists, living and working in the south west of the county, who originally got together following participation in the Norfolk Open Studios scheme. In 2012, Breckland Artists celebrated their tenth anniversary.  The group’s longevity and appeal owes much to the diversity of subject matter and the range of techniques employed.

New artist, Les Williams, will be exhibiting his pen and wash drawings.  Les, who trained at the Princes Drawing School, produces his drawings on location to capture the moment and finds inspiration in the life and buildings of the city of London.

This will also be the first time that new artist member, Marie Dawe, exhibits at Wymondham with Breckland Artists.  Marie is an artist specialising in fused glass and her work is an exciting new addition to the group.

The 2013 Wymondham exhibition also sees the welcome return of painter Jane Wareham who returns to exhibiting with Breckland Artists for the first time in two years.
