The first few weeks of lock-down induced in me a creative lethargy, both as a musician and a painter, I had to force myself into the studio.
I ended up putting my frustrations into painting 'Lock-down Blues' which helped me into a more positive attitude.
Later on, I found myself forced into paying more attention to my immediate surroundings, particularly the garden. The resulting paintings, based upon stylised wild and garden flowers, have been quite unlike my usual work, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
